Pros

The pay is above average and the workplace accomodations are improving. They have added new cafeterias and plan on upgrading all of the 1970 style work spaces. There are many top flight educational opportunities available for all employees. The overall employee base has an increasing number of younger, more diverse employees to offset the large number of employees approaching retirement age. The ERP systems available are currently some of the best available and the support systems are just as comparable.

Cons

Mid-level managers in my division were autocratic and unwilling to accept opposing opinions. The culture has a severe case of survivor remorse and many of the older employees are unwilling to share ideas and opinions in fear of being the next to be released. The pride exhibited by employees when the company was called AMP is no longer apparent and a new "not my job" attitude has been cultivated in response to management tactics. Verbal abuse runs rampant as the pressure to deliver superior performance numbers takes center stage over building successful teams and providing an environment of co-operation and trust.

Pros

Broadly a good company if you’re in a senior decision making role.

Cons

HR policies are words only. Years go by without ability to take any PTO and carry over not allowed. Friday afternoons, all HR US employees stop working with all others working past normal business hours and into the weekend including late Friday asks to complete an action by Monday 8:00 AM that was known earlier in the week but only communicated to the employee after Friday business hours. Every Friday. Onboarding structure / sink or swim approach, no training. No sense of belonging unless you’ve worked here 20 years plus. No growth or development opportunities unless tapped on the shoulder. Many openings are never published, again tapped on the shoulder approach despite offering to volunteer. Dismissive company culture. Every Voice Counts initiative is code for: if you do share your voice, you are on a list to not consider for promotion or any projects that would give you more visibility across the organization to foster one’s growth.
