Pros

Ability to transfer in between location, management pay is decent, good springboard to get you into somewhere else, can learn a lot with regards to running a retail store the magnitude of target. You go through a lot supposedly to get to store management level.

Cons

Management direction, everyone is not treated fairly within company, managers give conflicting direction, hourly pay is not great. Once you hit certain level, promotion is non-existant for a long while. Appearance of management having "favorites" that get "special perks". Store management offers different ideas and practices that district management does not confirm as "best practice"

Pros

If you are looking for a job that you’ll be a part of a fun team environment, have the ability to learn all about customer “guest” service, retail operations and sales, as well as merchandising even at entry level great opportunity. for such a large corporation I have been pleasantly surprised by how tight knit teams are. applying was okay, there were multiple steps (videos, assessments) but overall not too bad)., phone call and then video questions before hiring.

Cons

Pay isn’t great, but for the market it’s fair. Moving up involves a much larger increase in responsibilities and workload relative to the pay increase.
