Pros

Good pay, Good Benefits, opportunity to meet many friendly people. Development is fair (but not what they explained it to be)...

Cons

Work life balance...weekends/nights/holidays, but that is expected for retail. Target takes pride in developing their leaders on paper. However, the programs they put in place for development is never implemented the way they should be. Instead of really developing, you find yourself (including all leaders) just going through the motions to have development programs on file in case you get a visit from DTL or HR Group Partner. They tell you that you will work 45-50 hours per week, but it's more like 60 hours per week and 65-70 during peak season. Overall, not a bad place to work, but not a great place to work.
