Pros

Easy Tranperfect Dataforce jobs for data collection, can give some occasional gigs IF THEY PAY

Cons

Not keeping their promised payment. I participated in their Transperfect Dataforce FaceID data collection project, submitting 75 selfies and 3 videos of myself. They are EXTREMELY slow in response after I made the submission. When I sent an email to inquire about my status, they said that I had not performed the required actions in the videos. Fair enough. I resubmitted the videos and performed the instructions they sent. It has been more than three weeks and I received ABSOLUTELY NO response from their team. I emailed one person in charge of the project, and he DID NOT RESPOND TO ME AT ALL. This attitude is extremely irresponsible, and fails to keep their promises. I can declare that this company is a SCAM based on their attitude towards independent contractors. They are essentially STEALING the data from independent contractors and I hope that people be more cautious when participating in any Transperfect Dataforce projects. THEY WILL NOT PAY YOU WHEN YOU ARE GOING TO GET A LOT OF $$ FROM THEM. The only time they actually paid was when I participated in their landmark collection project. I spent hours finding photos from my photo gallery. They rejected most claiming that the pictures did not match the pixel requirements, etc. Not sure what intentions or rationalities they have. In the end, I received only $1.50 for two valid photos. Therefore, I highly recommend everyone to be cautious when deciding whether to take on these gigs, which they send by email, put adverts on Instagram, YouTube, Google and everywhere.

Pros

The work isn't too tough. The people in the office are skilled and pleasant. There are decent benefits and you can work from home for 2 days.

Cons

The pay is bad. Decent for when you first start but raises are small and infrequent. Bonuses are even smaller and more infrequent. We were fully remote but slowly have been forced back into office for no good reason.
