Pros

TransUnion was a strong organization initially, with a collaborative culture and capable product leadership. Many product leaders are genuinely supportive, knowledgeable, and focused on building meaningful solutions. The company works on impactful platforms at scale, which can be a good learning opportunity.

Cons

The culture shifted noticeably after the Neustar acquisition and the rollout of the OneTru platform. Over time, the organization became predominantly engineering-driven, with product management often positioned as a supporting function rather than a strategic partner. Repeated layoffs across multiple quarters led to ongoing job insecurity, which negatively affected morale, trust in leadership, and employee engagement. While there are capable and well-intentioned leaders within the company, certain senior leadership decisions contributed to cultural instability and reduced long-term product focus
