      Very flexible with your schedule.

      Cons

      Depending on the department you work for you respond to different superiors and all the faculty, with that they each assign a variety of tasks so you have to become a jack of all trades which is fine but the con is it takes a minute to adapt and learn how everything works.

      Great institution serving a diverse student population. Plenty of interesting research labs. Decent benefits.

      Commuter school so traffic and parking can be terrible. Select your PI wisely, and ensure healthy work life balance.
