I'm sorry you've had less than an ideal experience in your time here - I'm curious about the things you bring up and how we can improve them. I've seen strong examples of meritocracy during my time, and by rolling out tools like the Instant Feedback program I think Uber's done a lot to invest in recognition and reward for great work.
If you'd be willing, feel free to reach out and we can dig in confidentially: pierce@uber.com. Thanks for the review.
I love being able to work around truly passionate people who are ready to change the world. The culture is great, free snacks and food is big plus. I had the opportunity to take ownership of projects within my first month
Cons
The hours are much longer than any other job I've worked in, but this is expected to change as we continue hiring more help
