      Good money, good health benefits.

      Cons

      Dog eat dog based on seniority. It doesn't matter how hard you work or what you bring to the table. It just matters how long you can sit at said table. Don't have a family if you intend to work for the railroad.

      Good pay good hours great pay. Take home pay not as good. To much coming out of it. Union doesn't do anything for you.

      Worst foreman I've ever had. Makes you feel like your stupid an cusses you all the time if you don't fit in his click. So many bid out of my. Vernon Illinois because of him. Stay away from Mt Vernon Illinois UP
