Cons
Unum has turned into a company where management does not listen to their front line employees, and when they do there is not incentives or recognition given. Upper and middle management do not care about their employees that are taking care of their customers. If changes are made it’s causing more work and stress and limits people from doing their jobs effectively. Unum’s return to office policy is extremely strict and they have not been any bit accommodating for parents with kids in school. This is especially frustrating considering they have complete capacity to be flexible but choose not to. They are looking for an agreeable workforce that will do anything asked of them without question; sheep. They despise critical thinkers because they cannot control them.
