Pros

Lots of opportunity to grow because everyone around you is learning as well. They love hiring recent college grads from the top schools and there's a different promotion track for this group. As such, the culture feels like a college social setting. Free sodas, shuttles from different parts of the Bay Area and free parking in the garage.

Cons

Spent over 10 years in the San Bruno office and remember leadership having empathy for work/life balance. Within the last 2 years, this has eroded. It's typical to work through lunch and have lunch meetings especially during the top of the week and during Q4. Because business direction usually comes out of the Jet offices in Hoboken NJ, the East Coast work mentality is very strong. Lack of diversity (female/people of color) in upper management. There are no free lunches or snacks.

Pros

Advancement opportunities, great at developing skills, great place to learn a skill and grow your resume, or grow with the company.

Cons

Understaffing issues negatively affects all parts of their business. However, Walmart has increased their minimum hourly rate with hopes to attract more committed employees, and retain better employees.
