Settle for less, look up "apathy" before applying - TLE Technician Walmart Employee Review

Pros

Hourly pay with minimal real management by any definition of the word.

Cons

High deductibles on health plans, figure a fourth of what you'll make if you have to have any medical needs met. Lack of organization means you will cover many jobs at once. Priority seems to be keeping customers in the store as long as possible to maximize impulse sales. I never called in sick until I was hospitalized and fired.

Pros

Advancement opportunities, great at developing skills, great place to learn a skill and grow your resume, or grow with the company.

Cons

Understaffing issues negatively affects all parts of their business. However, Walmart has increased their minimum hourly rate with hopes to attract more committed employees, and retain better employees.
