Pros

None, or I'll try and expand upon this and give a better detailed description of the pros of working there...ummmmm...nope none.

Cons

Dealing with poor managers who wouldn't know how to handle employees properly if they had a degree in it. The incompetence was earth shattering. I would see coworkers getting reprimanded and as if they had pulled the reasoning from the holy bible of idiocy they would try and explain to the worker what they had done wrong and how to handle customers in a way that would make anyone with a few brain cells cringe. The lack of awareness among the managers as to what actually goes on in departments is laughable. They think that because they have the title of manager that that somehow makes them a big shot, you're a manager at Walmart so how about we pumped the brakes on the success train and reevaluate your position in life.

Pros

Advancement opportunities, great at developing skills, great place to learn a skill and grow your resume, or grow with the company.

Cons

Understaffing issues negatively affects all parts of their business. However, Walmart has increased their minimum hourly rate with hopes to attract more committed employees, and retain better employees.
