When I was there, there were no clear career progression baselines, and several sectors were affected by the company's change of business model to the extent that, on the one hand, bonuses were paid. People were promoted without a more precise and shared sense of targets to achieve. Conversely, on the other hand, when the crisis consumed the company, massive layoffs were made without an anticipated and more evident consensus about that rather than 'top-down changes'.
