Pros

Hi , there will be very less chance that you will get to work in a good project. Bits M.tech certificate will not be marked as regular. You will not get the experience certificate. PF account will not be opened for you. Only your actual experience will be helpful to see the corporate world as a trainee.

Cons

I don't support Wipro's WILP program where graduates like 20's age students taken from various location enrolled in a distance m.tech program and bond is signed for 5 years. Most of them will be trained and working on legacy project such as support role and IT engineers in banks like HDFC , ICIC etc. Wipro is taking advantage of graduates and those who are coming after 5 years from Wipro knows nothing about the new technology and they have no real time experience on that. I really feel sad that I am the victim of this. This is clearly a brain drain process in India.

Pros

Positive and supporting work culture where employees feel valued and respected. Team environment is very friendly and colleagues are always willing to help each other, which creates a collaborative atmosphere.

Cons

I would not 100% consider it as cons as its common thru most MNC's. But opportunities for fast career progression can vary depending on the project or team.

Pros

There are no pros to working for Wipro.

Cons

This company is a sh** show. There are too many managers and less and less people to do the actual work. They have people that negotiate contracts and then expect the company to make money. In reality, most of the time the contract is basically giving the house away. It is the employees that suffer. When the contracts go south, they cut more people. Those people are then screwed over. Be warned!! If your position ends on the 25th of the month, your health insurance also ends on the 25th of the month. Note that the premium you paid, is not pro-rated, justifying the end of coverage on the 25th. You still pay the usual premium, which should then have your coverage run through the end of the month. If they can destroy a person, they will. They want more and more and more from their employees. While they preach all this mental health, work life balance, it's a sham. They have no regard for the well being of the employee, which carries over to the employee's family.
