Pros

They gave me a job and stayed out of my way. All the cons come from having to interact with Wipro personnel and systems.

Cons

They can't seem to figure out logistics, like their SAP payroll, so week after week spent fighting with the payroll system to enter time and get a paycheck. I know someone who doesn't know who his Wipro supervisor is, and when they asked, got no response. So this next comment may not came as a surprise: They suck at communicating. SUCK. At least if you're in America. In addition to they kind of system communication I meantion above, they also like to give you 24 or 48 hour notice with an email (sent to an email box you might look at once a week) before an important due date notice. And on top of that, English isn't the first language. So many of the communications, tests, etc are poorly written. And you have the job you have. There is no advancement. You are hired into your career. Oh, and when you're negotiating a salary, set the anchor high! They are notorious low ballers!! They provide middle of the road benefits. Don't suck. And not great.

Pros

There are no pros to working for Wipro.

Cons

This company is a sh** show. There are too many managers and less and less people to do the actual work. They have people that negotiate contracts and then expect the company to make money. In reality, most of the time the contract is basically giving the house away. It is the employees that suffer. When the contracts go south, they cut more people. Those people are then screwed over. Be warned!! If your position ends on the 25th of the month, your health insurance also ends on the 25th of the month. Note that the premium you paid, is not pro-rated, justifying the end of coverage on the 25th. You still pay the usual premium, which should then have your coverage run through the end of the month. If they can destroy a person, they will. They want more and more and more from their employees. While they preach all this mental health, work life balance, it's a sham. They have no regard for the well being of the employee, which carries over to the employee's family.
