Pros

Culture is generally fantastic. Been here a few years since before the pandemic and employees were a valued asset. Empathy was present and tons of groups to be part of.

Cons

Try dynamic shift. I've heard the term "indentured servant" used more. The return to office mandate has pushed good people to leave. Not sure why, but it's no longer about developing the employee. Career progression has stagnated, management in many organizations lack support for their teams and only worry about managing upwards and "looking good".... It's such a shame that micro-management is pervasive now, "big brother" looking over your shoulder, depending upon team there is little decision making authority, and leadership has most definitely STOPPED trusting the employee. It was proven during the pandemic that remote work could be done successfully, but that means nothing now. No empathy or consideration for what the employee wants / needs to get their job done. "Flex" is laughable when it is shoved down your throat. Not sure how loss of productivity is beneficial to the company when people could work 10 hours a day from home, now with commute mandates it only causes the employee to put in less time working since they have to commute. The lack of loyalty from certain levels of management was truly eye opening. Easy to be overlooked and forgotten now. Certain levels of management (depending upon area) should be ashamed and held accountable. To see the shift is rather heartbreaking. Morale is definitely suffering right now in many areas.

Pros

Peers/ co-workers, flexibility, genuine nice co-workers

Cons

Lack of integrity and honesty. Sr, Director visited SLC two months ago and held 1:1 meetings to find out what she can do better and tell her something she did know. It was all smoke and mirrors and a waste of travel budget as they laid us all off. Workday get your crap together. You let go of some amazing, knowledgeable individuals that could’ve been moved to other orgs/locations but instead you decided to hand them their walking papers.
