Pros

Workday overall is a great company and has a bright future as long as they continue to deliver on their expectations and goals. Many of the departments at the company are held in good standing and truly embody Workday's core values while others do not.

Cons

Sales Operations is one of the departments that doesn't embody Workday's core values and at times has the illusion of a functioning department all while the reality is much the opposite. Business etiquette is childish and there is a constant "tug of war" of consistency between management. Good ideas are taken and executed by others and credit is rarely given where it is due. Management talks down to employees who are treated as if they are expendable and pawns apart of a larger bureaucratic chess match. Overall, it is a disaster.

Pros

Great culture at the peer to peer level. Excellent learning opportunities, good benefits and great name for resume.

Cons

Pretend to be transparent but a lot of smoke & mirrors. Significant cuts to comp plans & commissions that resulted in challenging pay cuts. While salaries were not reduced the OTE is no longer achievable and it’s a difference of thousands monthly, can’t even sell stock because it’s tanked. That being said, we’re disappointed in comp and stock but grateful to be employed because It’s no longer a matter of if you’ll be laid off but when.
