Over time, the employee-first culture has eroded. Compensation has been reduced, and benefits have been taken away without meaningful alternatives. Layoffs have resulted in heavier workloads for those who remain, essentially asking people to do more for less. The company has lost its sense of strategy and vision, with leadership now focused almost entirely on short-term cost cutting. What’s most demoralizing is the disconnect between what leadership says and what employees experience—leaders continue to insist that employees are the top priority, when actions clearly show otherwise. This disconnect makes it harder to trust management and harder to stay motivated.
