      You are on your own to manage your workload , out in the community. Best way to learn about rural areas, oil and gas operations. You travel hundreds of miles a day.

      Cons

      Unpredictable weather , loose dogs , access issues on meters. Unsafe conditions.

      Work-life balance, okay benefits, and cemented impact on the community

      Cons

      Because the company has a bottom line, promotional paths aren't really a thing beyond individual contributor to manager. I don't know what the next level up would be besides that.
