Pros

I've been at Zillow Denver for over 6 years and really enjoy what we do here. The people in the office are incredible and treat each other like family. Things are constantly changing, so the job never gets stale. We have a very respectful, talented and strategic leadership team in place, an unbelievable group of salespeople, and a support staff that any organization would be jealous of. From IT, to customer care, and our newer group of client engagement specialists all the way around are top notch. I've seen this office grow from a baby with 22 employees to one of the most amazing employers in Denver with around 500 currently. We have grown a lot as a company and are just getting stronger and more innovative. It's been a fun and interesting journey and I wouldn't trade it for the world.

Cons

I cant think of anything off the top of my head

Thank you for the great review and, more importantly, thank you for your years of contribution to Zillow Group. Your insight into change is a good one. When you become part of the Zillow Group team, you sign up for innovation and change. To me, that is one of things that makes it fun and it looks like you feel the same way. Feel free to give me more feedback when I am in Denver or shoot me an email at stevec@zillow.com. Thank you again for the review. Steve Capezza - Vice President, Premier Agent Sales.

Pros

Generally the people I work with are great. They are supportive, creative, and work well as a team. Work-life balance is good, although some teams have more on-call than others.

Cons

- Senior leadership has determined that inflation need not be a factor when calculating raises. - Also, we're having record profitability! But also money is very tight and we all need to tighten our belts. - Our stock is down 50% this year, but you all need to suck it up, even though stock is a huge part of pay. - We don't care that you are getting a 30% effective pay cut this year. - Performance ratings are calculated on vibes before reviews are actually written. - We've started outsourcing heavily to Mexico and India. - "We need to raise the bar" ("Please work harder for the same pay") - Health benefits have eroded for several years. - Other benefits have never been adjusted for inflation. - AI is becoming like a cult. We've actually been told that the dream is to never open a code editor again, despite the technology not being remotely ready for that (and with no proof that it is less expensive or saves time).
