I worked at Eurotech full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Good spirited people working most of the time. Good pay. Coming on a weekly basis. Good overtime on a regular basis.

    Cons

The Lay offs come unexpectedly. The Super doesn't answer his phone. He's very hard to reach. Sometimes impossible. That's not a good look for the company.

    Advice to Management

Rotate good workers. Super needs to answer phone calls!!!

I worked at Eurotech full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Most employees are very nice and hard working, but are severely micro managed by bad management and HR.

    Cons

Management is awful, Micro managing is how this place runs, HR department is despicable.

This is the worst company I have ever been employed by, HR and Management is clueless.

    Advice to Management

Clean house in your HR department and treat your employees better.

    Positive Outlook

I have been working at Eurotech full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

Decisions are made on data, not emotion
    Growing collaborative environment
Lots of clear improvements since mid-2014, including better communication and transparency

    Cons

A little negative morale lingers, but the people who are focused on the positive improvements counter that well.

    Advice to Management

Keep up the positive momentum in the North America team and in the overall management of that region.

    Pros

There really are no pros. This place is awful. Do not work here unless you are desparate.

    Cons

There is no job security, about 3 percent of the workforce is laid off each month and their positions are not being replaced. The compensation is below average and raises are not given. The paid time off is below average, if you are even lucky enough to take considering you are overworked. Expect to work 60 hours a week but have your paid time off, which is already comparable to the paid time off Mcdonalds employees ger, docked if you need to leave for an hour one day. There is no 401k match and the healthcare covers nothing. I can confirm what the other posted said that multiple customers are either suing or about to sue. This is because as a result of such high workforce turnover, the company does not have the resources to support contracts with customers.

    Advice to Management

I don't know what you can do. I think you are past the point that the company can be saved, I think your talent has left due to being neglected and you loss contracts as a result of losing that talent. And as a result of losing those contracts, you can't afford talent. It's a vicious cycle. My advice to you would be update your resumes and hope future employers don't look at your work history at Eurotech, because Eurotech is going under.

I worked at Eurotech full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Great small company atmosphere, learned a lot about the business just being an engineer.

    Cons

If you have to deal with the Huntsville office, you are doomed. The back-stabbing politics and unprofessional behavior arising from there will make your life MISERABLE. Make sure you understand entry requirements into benefit plans before going in.....

    Advice to Management

Hire a strong VP of Engineering to rein in the processes, improve Quality, create a strong product roadmap and control Huntsville.

    Pros

Some great people and customers to work with. Good work/life balance and flexible scheduling.

    Cons

Didn't always get the support of management to go after business which required some customization. Some of the processor modules and technology getting stale.

    Advice to Management

Invest in engineering and new products with current processors and OS's
