I have been working at EverString full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    - Solid team and product in an exciting space with a long runway
    - After (what I've heard as multiple pivots in its early days), the vision and execution toward it has been laser focussed in the year. IMO - a key strength for any company, especially a startup
    - Some very smart and hardworking engineers that have built up a solid platform and some great IP!
    - Smart, focused, humble, high EQ CEO has assembled a solid executive team since he has taken over with clear goals that are now being achieved - which is the biggest testament to his and company's success
    - Great work-life balance. Caring and welcoming work-place

    Cons

    - Exciting and new space with a lot of buzz, so not all prospects/customers really understand how to use the product (especially models/AI/ML pieces) to get to their goals
    - Important to continue to ruthlessly prioritize ORG, GTM strategy and product based on real $$

    Advice to Management

Continue to quickly grow strong performers and shed non-performers/serial 'quota-missers' as was recently done, even if it means horrible glassdoor reviews!

I worked at EverString full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Catered weekly lunches funded by the $80M VC money. Wasting investors' money to be honest.

    Cons

    - No leadership
    - No vision
    - No mission
    - No product
    - No appreciation for employees, which equates to no customers (or, high customer churn rate).

If you're an SDR and thinking of joining, DON'T! Run away from EverGone fast. It's not a good place for SDRs, because there's no training. Leadership here is a joke.

    Advice to Management

Close the shop, and stop ruining young talents' careers.

I worked at EverString full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Smart team of engineers who make incredible technology

    Cons

Sales Management an absolute joke - unprofessional in every way. No transparency at all.

Monthly company meeting to lead you to think the company is doing well - then comes rounds of lay offs.

The culture is unhealthy - gross negligence in HR and managing situations. If you a bro and want to be part of the bro culture go for it.

Complete mismanagement of money - drained all VC funding on conference parties instead of reinvesting in their technology and people.

Cannot tell you how many of people were unhappy - a lot of people left

The salaries are a joke. If I could give zero stars I would

    Advice to Management

Clean house and hire people that actually know how to manage, lead, and coach a team.

    Create a healthy culture

Sell the company because you guys have no clue what you're doing.

I have been working at EverString full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Extremely hardworking engineering staff that regularly puts in long hours. Culture has rebounded a bit better after the massive departure of employees...it was really bad right after they had left/laid off.

HR has taken a good effort in being transparent with all employees.

    Sales team is OK.

    Cons

Engineering is a revolving door and the vision has shifted so many times. A lot of talent has left across the Eng. And sales group. Much of everything is an illusion—not sure what the true state of the company is anymore. Crowded space with innovators clearly ahead now.

    Advice to Management

    Maybe time to go

I worked at EverString full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Hard working engineering and sales team. Sales works extremely hard to meet their goals.

    Cons

Upper management would rather scroll through their phone than look you in the eye to hear your concerns.
    No growth for company
No growth or journey to get a promotion
    High turnover
    Lots of lay offs
Avg. tenure for SDR = 2.5 years until possible promotion to AE

    Advice to Management

Take care of your team and listen to them. Reward people for doing great, hard work and promote your team every once in a while!

I have been working at EverString full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

I have only been at EverString for a short while, but I have nothing but great things to say about this company already. From the moment I started, I was greeted with warm welcomes and provided the necessary tools/resources to execute my job to the best of my abilities.

Since being here, I have already seen some of my co-workers get promoted within their department or take on new leadership roles within other departments at EverString. Compensation is fair, and the company has a great policy for their workers regarding any sick, vacation, or personal time needed out of the office.

I am not only excited about my future endeavors here but the company's overall vision/goal, as well. We all preach "One team, One goal" here, and I would be more than willing to go out of my way to help anyone that works for EverString or has an affiliation with the company, for any reason.

    Cons

As of now, I have nothing negative to say about this company. The only thing is in the future, I feel we might need more space due to expansion.

    Advice to Management

Keep up the great work. The leadership and communication at the company are awesome, and I enjoy every day that I come into work.
