I have been working at Expicient full-time

    To many targets.

    Advice to Management

    Negative Outlook

I worked at Expicient full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    - Good out of college job
    - Travel
    - Freedom and flexibility

    Cons

    - Completely disorganized, there is no defined structure inside the company, no clarity within roles
    - Missing leadership, lack of (actual) managers and people who can lead
    - Little to no space for career growth and development, as in you reach the highest you can get within a short period of time
    - Underpaid for what the consulting market is

    Advice to Management

    - Understand your employees, it's not always just about projects and clients. Try to improve the employee experience and this can probably help retain US college grads

    - Get actual managers. Just because someone is good at what they do doesn't mean they are good managers. They have to be able to help their team, understand their needs, be a role model

    - Have clarity. Don't keep things hidden from people inside the company, doesn't help at all. It is better to hear bad news rather than not knowing anything at all.

    Pros

Great amount of transparency in your role for an intern and a lot of autonomy over projects. You receive the chance to feel like a full-time employee. Your ideas and respected and considered as worthwhile. A wonderful internship for those considering HR or Consulting work. Management is accommodating and easily accessed. 10/10!

    Cons

No cons here. This a great opportunity to see if you can handle full-time work in a growing industry and manage your own projects.

I have been working at Expicient full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    - Small Company providing opportunities for donning different hats for different roles.
     - Good sector to be associated with(Retail and Omni Channel Commerce)
     - Good interaction with leadership

    Cons

    - Less diversity in workforce reflects in attitude and approach towards work and challenges. It is a two sided sword.
    - Involvement in lot of small projects and implementations; big clients and implementations missing
    - Barely any core consulting work happening; more of Omni Channel IT Implementations

    Advice to Management

Need to focus on strengthening the core competencies by getting resources trained and certified in various fields. Also, can boost employee morale by adding more peripheral benefits.

I have been working at Expicient full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    - Great team filled with sharp, funny, characters
    - Opportunities for growth are tremendous: with the recent buyout, the entire company is focused on growing current areas of excellence as well as exploring new opportunities
    - Work-life balance: unlike most consulting companies, the hours are very reasonable and the managements makes an effort to understand personal schedules. There are also many folks who live in other state and work remotely/on-site at the client.

    Cons

As with any growing company, we are lacking some support/communication tools. Management is working to address these gaps with more training, investment in our people, etc. Fortunately, there is a lot of opportunity for employees to identify these opportunities and propose ways to fix them.

    Advice to Management

    Keep doing what you're doing.
