-Reasonable hours compared with private sector banks -Collegial atmosphere at local team level -Interesting and challenging transactions -Internal mobility and training opportunities

Cons

-Mandates experimental medical treatments for employees in violation of fundamental right of bodily autonomy; non-compliance results in forced unpaid leave and potential termination with cause -Salaries are non-competitive with private sector equivalents -As a federal crown corporation, upper management is often preoccupied by faddish and unsustainable political chimeras (e.g. ESG, net-zero) as opposed to exporter market realities

People believe in the mandate of the organization (supporting Canadian exporters). Great benefits, work life balance. Full of smart people that work hard.

Cons

Obsession with newest trend (lean, management systems, etc) without understanding implications. Low turnover. Less than inspiring leadership in some areas. Reduced upward mobility if you don't have finance/insurance background.
