    Pros

Staff was a pleasure to work with (IT staff as well as other departments).

Other than the IT Manager, mis-management from the top down. C-level managers throwing unnecessary and usually overpriced technology at every potential new manager to "seal the deal". Company was bleeding money and IT had to suffer.

    Advice to Management

Realize that your staff is human, not stats on a sheet of paper. Your treatment of staff and your decisions have consequences.
