    Pros

when I worked at Fiksu, they had compiled one of the hardest working, most intelligent and motivated sales teams I have been a part of.

    Cons

managerial misguidance and and an overzealous expansion resulted in the company running out of runway, failing to meet their self-stated goal of going public

I worked at Fiksu full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

The people are great. Meaning the worker bees, not the leadership. It seems like everyone is trying to do their best but the results just aren't showing.

    Free snacks.
    Some reimbursements.

    Cons

    Leadership is terrible.
    Product literally doesn't work.
    Pay is bad.
There is a hostile vibe when you walk into the office. Lots of closed door meetings.
Everything is too little too late. Make changes to the process and now something else doesn't work. Make changes to the product and it doesn't work. Offer to do a deep dive into performance of a client, they cancel.

I've never worked for a more messed up place in my entire life. No one is happy here.

    Advice to Management

Get rid of the people that make this place toxic. People are treading water and there is some weight that is dragging people under. If you want to stay afloat, cut ties with those you think are dragging people down everyday.

    I worked at Fiksu full-time

    Pros

if you're in the right role, Fiksu can be a resume builder and a foot in the door into mobile.

    Cons

Between Fiksu and Meed there have been layoffs almost monthly without an end in sight. Moral is low, most everyone who's still there wants a new job and no longer have the energy to make the product or company valuable. Last year it was sold to a Ukrainian based firm and they've made their intentions clear. There really isn't a path forward for both Fiksu or any of the employees that choose to stay there.

Leadership in HR is more concerned with their obsession with dogs than ensuring the staff is happy, taken care of or that they're doing their job. Across the board upper management is completely out of touch but especially those closest to the CEO. Whenever anyone has negative feedback, that employee is quickly deemed a "bad egg" or "not on the bus" and all opinions from them are denounced. In their minds Fiksu is a great place to work and all else who think otherwise are just plain wrong.

Salaries vary from person to person even within the same role. The company has historically taken full advantage of younger employees by paying them much, much less than someone else in their same role with slightly more experience and blaming it on "we're a start up" or similar excuses. They've made moves to address the problem with a leveling project but HR leadership instead went on a power-trip, became obsessed with who was ranked above or below them and did nothing to ensure the most valuable employees were compensated appropriately.

    Advice to Management

I don't know at this point.

    Advice to Management

Create a place where people like to work, have some direction as opposed to shifting gears as the tide changes
