      there are zero pros to speak of.

      Cons

      Company culture riddled with favoritism, nepotism, etc. You simple cannot win. No matter what you do they want more. I opened several million dollar accounts and they didn't even blink. however have a slow month and you on the chopping block.

      pay is usually competitive and benefits are decent

      Cons

      staff shortages, high turnover, people terminated regularly. keep your head down, don't make friends, don't make waves or you will be terminated eventually for something. middle management is Jim Jones like. lots of hoops to jump through to get anything done. everything requires an electronic record called a footprint... you do not want to work at this place. its scary.

      Pros

      CEO and executive management truly committed to the greater NOLA area. Very competitive benefits, compensation, and employee recognition. Great place to work for if you are starting in banking and in the right department. Kept many of the employees from banks it has acquired in the past.

      Cons

      Good talent doesn't seem to stay long. A restructure is probably needed as it operates the same way as it did when it was a "de novo" bank in 2006. It may have worked so far but shareholders may not be confident in doing business the same way as the bank starts to expand further in the future.
