I have been working at Footaction part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Good environment pretty laid back place

    Cons

Managers don't know anything low pay low hours and when you get there they only really teach you how to sell a pair of shoes they don't teach you how to exchange or do layaway , people smoke in the stock room , stock room is always dirty bc no one is assigned a specific job

    Advice to Management

Make sure managers are good and the store will be in good hands & check cameras

I worked at Footaction full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

The uniform is comfortable and includes tennis shoes, though employees are on their feet all day.

    Cons

They pay their managers horrifically (salary only, no OT), yet expect them to work 50-60 hours/week. And bold-faced lied in the interview that the hours were only 40 hours/week.

    Advice to Management

Don't lie to applicants about the hours required and don't expect them to work insane hours for peanuts.

I have been working at Footaction part-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

The job is in a relaxed atmosphere and has a relaxed dress code. The relationship between coworkers and management is comfortable but almost to a fault.

    Cons

Management struggles to separate business and personal when it comes to being strict to employees. You may be overworked due to your availability, or you may not get any hours due to the very large staff.

    Pros

While working there, you are provided with discounts on many items in the store. This can help you save money from work.

    Cons

You get started with the minimum pay, and you have to work with a lot of people. Also, sometimes it can get a little bit crowded.

    Advice to Management

Move the pay to $8 to help with the demand.
