    I worked at Foreclosure.com full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

relaxed dress code, good work/life balance (rarely work any overtime)

    Cons

management is not effective (always behind closed doors), information to perform tasks doesn't filter down to do your job efficiently, very low pay scale

    Advice to Management

listen to employee advice on how to perform your job more efficiently, don't take good employees for granted

    Pros

Growing young environment, great people, cool tech stuff.

    Cons

Work life balance, compensation definitely below average when I started, my friend had an easier job at another firm and made way more than me, and its not like they cant afford it either. They should invest in everyone not just senior members, they get paid well.

    Advice to Management

Review comp structure for the employees, they work way too much for what they get paid, almost taking advantage. At least pay an average wage and make an effort to keep them. Employees move on in about 2 years or less.

    Pros

    Friendly people. Very diverse environment.

    Cons

No clear goals. Wayward company. senior management does not know where they are going.
Even if they know, It never gets propagated down. Lot of work goes to garbage. No feeling of accomplishment at the end of the day. This company would have had a great future, if it was at the hands of right individuals.

    Advice to Management

Walk the management. Just sitting behind the doors will blind you from reality.

    Pros

There is a balance between work and personal life.
    The dress code is relaxed.
Technology used at work place is very new, so lot of things can be learned.
Software development environment is organized by having all necessary latest software which helps in rapid development of code.
The computer system they give is very good.
Lunch Break room is very good with almost all essential items.

    Cons

Pay is very less , compared to living expense of city where it is located.
Software engineering process is not followed properly. There is lack of designer, architect in company. Working without proper design can be frustrating..
Other than coding, you learn no business here. Programming management does not know how to treat people, they lack management experience. Lots of people left company because of that

    Advice to Management

Programmers should be handled by people who know how to handle people under them. Company should hire good architect or designer in software

    Negative Outlook

    I worked at Foreclosure.com full-time

    Pros

Relaxed work environment and dress code
Nice group of people (with a few exceptions)
    Convenient location

    Cons

Upper management is inexperienced with basic business practices and protocol.
Lack of communication - important information is not filtered properly in order to do your job efficiently.
    Salaries are below industry standards
    No opportunity for career growth

    Advice to Management

You should listen to your employees and provide more opportunity for career growth. Perhaps hire the right people for internal positions instead of hiring your friends who have no experience or expertise in their current positions.
