I worked at Fresenius full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

I am trying to think of pros, but there is none. Manger & charge Nurse care only about themselves. Treat Staff very unprofessional.

    Cons

Manger & charge Nurse is lazy, shady, & not trust worthy. They take 1 1\2 hour lunches during turn around. Will not help Staff with problems, schedules, or dr.

    Advice to Management

Fire the manager & charge Nurses that do not work their hours.

I worked at Fresenius full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

    Good pay, good benefits.

    Cons

The pharmacy staff at the DFW Distribution Center are the most unprofessional group of people With whom I have ever worked. Petty arguments, bullying, use of profanity, false accusations and inappropriate use of the Human Resources Department as a tool to get rid of employees that don't fit their hidden agenda. Power struggle between upper management and the pharmacy staff at all levels. A toxic work environment for anyone. Stay as far away from this facility's pharmacy aand it's staff.

    Advice to Management

Totally clean housse at the pharmacy level. These people are only interested in themselves and not the patients.

I worked at Fresenius full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Honestly, I was not there to see any positives. Management in my group were some of the most dysfunctional insecure individuals I have ever encountered in any job. The level of expertise, was below par, very disappointing.

    Cons

I walked out, my employment was comparable to the way we treat elementary school children. I am a professional, secure in my abilities and where I lack. The group I reported to, it became clear to me, was riddled with personal insecurities which impacted others. The dynamic was comparable to any narcissistic relationship I encountered, riddled with triangulation and corporate bullying tactics. I noticed a high degree of professional turnover in this group, and after spending 3 very long months it is apparent to me why.

    Advice to Management

Management should be cognizant of high turnover, high turnover is typically indicative of poor management. Turnover is very costly and it impacts employee morale, poor management renders poor performance

I have been working at Fresenius full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Great health insurance and accrued PTO per paycheck

    Cons

Long hours, terrible shifts, no work/home balance, unappreciated and degrading.

    Advice to Management

Appreciate your employees, they're the ones who make you money. Stop making them work terrible shifts, the shifts are so terrible a significant amount of people quit yearly, leaving the average tenured employees between 3-5 years. You would get better product quality if there wasn't 3 new hire on a 4 person line all the time. But if quality isn't what keep Fresenius alive, then you might as well throw in the towel and give everything to Baxtor. Show employees you appreciate them by rewarding them and you will get happy employees who can take pride in what they do. There is only so much "We work to help individuals with kidney failure live the most normal lives possible" if you're taking that right away from your employees, we don't get normal, we don't get weekends, we don't get holidays, we don't see the sun 90% of the time and we all put our money into the happy pills we need to try and feel normal. Think about it..

I have been working at Fresenius full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Great Benefits, excellent training/education, work every other weekend, Sundays off. Patients are kind and trusting.

    Cons

Clinic mgr impersonable with staff/patients. Disorganized lacks team work. Tech/ patient ratio sometimes more than policy allows.Techs work short with little assistance from Charge Nurses.

    Advice to Management

Need more interactions with Area/Region Managers, perhaps quarterly meetings, so staff could voice their care and concerns about the work environment and how to become proactive and not reactive in the workplace

I have been working at Fresenius (More than 8 years)

    Pros

Managers who truly want you to succeed and will give you the tools to ensure your success. A great organization and would love to stay here until retirement.

    Cons

There are none that I can think of. I read other reviews that state no merit raise is given at time of yearly review, but I've received a raise every year.

    Advice to Management

Please continue to provide training and team building because that is what the employees want and need. We are successful because you help us to that point of success.

    Pros

Great pay, great knowledge, great education benecits

    Cons

Supervisors have their own agenda - they receive the bonuses. The management is in its own "club". Other cons - can't be friendly with pts. Watch pts die, be it months or years. No way not to be attached.

    Advice to Management

Get over yourself. People working the old are doing the real work.
