    Pros

As a small start up, it pushed its employees to work hard and have many responsibilities. The company cared very much for its employees.

    Cons

I didn't find anything glaringly wrong.

I worked at GameView Studios full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

No positive comments for this company. One hit wonder that was bought out by a large company and could not produce a follow up game. Parent company was not innovative.

    Cons

CEO Irfan Virk was a cancer. He had no business running a game company with engineers that have never played much less programmed games. He did not even have the nerve to show up the day the company closed. The parent company that bought Gameview was not a leader but a follower. They just wait for another company to make a game and then copy it. They call their analytics team members game designers.

Staff was made up of mostly family members. Again people with no game experience but called themselves game designers. An insult to actual professionals that are real game designers. Poor designs and no clue that games require actual user testing. Not having your kids play and get their opinion.

I worked at GameView Studios (More than a year)

    Pros

Outstanding oppotunity to learn new technologies. A real chance to work under a huge japanies gaming company Dena. Work as DevOPS for the game 'Fatal Frontier' which is a clone of 'Blood Brothers' of Dena, JAPAN.

    Cons

no cons, but may be i think that the the should be a whole new arrangements for the training of upcoming freshers with respect to gaming thought process and technologies adoption.

    Advice to Management

I worked at GameView Studios full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

close to none. before 2011, there used to be a yearly trip. (one of the only positive thing, I might add) but that too stopped after 2011.

    Cons

too much work pressure. unreasonable deadlines. you work on a project for a month, then that gets abandoned and you start working on another project and the cycle continues.

too many late sittings, with no over time.

    Pros

It was a great company for social games development in Lahore. Unfortunately can not sustain its growth and finished.

    Cons

The management people were not upto the marks. There was a lot of nepotism and non-professionals that lead the company closure.

    Advice to Management

Most of the business has been closed so the advises are useless now. I wished it had survived because it had a great opportunities for the people here.
