I have been working at Gators Dockside part-time

    Pros

Take home cash after every shift.

    Cons

Not a fixed income. Income varies based on tips.

Better management of staffing and labor.

I worked at Gators Dockside part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

The managers were overall nice people. You can usually get a free meal while youre working as well as a beer at the end of your shift.

    Cons

The overall moral of the store was not very high. Especially working in the kitchen, it seemed like everyone was miserable to be there, including myself.

    Advice to Management

The management needs to be more aware of hard workers. I feel like the people that were most unhappy were people working there for a while.

    Pros

Good people to work with, management was ok, they worked with school schedule and I would go back there to work again

    Cons

No major complaints at all. I would go back here to work if they will allow me and if I was not already into my career

    Advice to Management

Keep up the good work. I really appreciate the opportunity working with you and your crew and would recommend this job again to anyone

    Pros

awesome place to work. Jerry and Sabrina were the best the whole time I was employed there.

    Cons

    NONE no problems at all

    Pros

Pay was decent for the work
Nice food benefits, half off drinks
    Friendly and mostly fun co-workers

    Cons

The job lost all of its fun little perks after a new round of management crackdowns
The business had somewhat of a "flying by the seat of its pants, duct tape and move forward, we'll get it fixed 6 months from now" feel to it
Atmosphere rode a strange line between relaxed locally owned business and high strung cooperate branch
Staff below the division of labor are hired on part time basis so there aren't any benefits available

    Advice to Management

Jerry should give your bonuses based on customer satisfaction not profit. If you are running a skeleton crew the product will be lower quality. The best thing you could do for employees is resolve the confusion on the style of business you are whether that's a professional corporate atmosphere full of advisors, consultants and policy or relaxed, local, and in touch

I have been working at Gators Dockside part-time

    Pros

Their food is always great. I love the wings. The place has a great atmosphere, and I love sitting on the patio.

    Cons

I can't really think of any cons. It's a great place with great food and great people working their so what's the problem?

    Advice to Management

I don't have any advice for management. But I am forced to fill this in with twenty words sooo... ok

I worked at Gators Dockside part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Young, friendly staff and quick turnover of your tables. If you get tables of families all night, you can make out okay but God forbid you get stuck with the high school sports teams.

    Cons

Small check totals mean smaller tips. Getting stuck with high school football teams is the absolute worst. You get an entire section full of teenagers who are demanding and reward you with no tip.

    Advice to Management

Don't cater to the high schools. Your servers get absolutely ripped off.
