Team events and flexible hours, but poor project allocation
Pros
* Regular team lunches and company-sponsored events. * Annual company trips and outings that help employees socialize and unwind. * Flexible office timings, allowing employees to manage their schedules effectively. * Decent work-life balance depending on the project and team.
Cons
My experience was disappointing. I spent nearly a year on the bench without being assigned to a meaningful client project, despite repeatedly expressing my willingness to contribute. Eventually, I was laid off because I was not on a billable client project, even though project allocation was largely outside my control. I also felt that career growth, project opportunities, and visibility were not always distributed transparently. In my experience, employees who had stronger social connections with management, including those who regularly attended company parties and informal gatherings, appeared to receive more opportunities and recognition. Employees who were less involved in these social circles could sometimes feel overlooked when it came to projects, promotions, and career progression. The company could improve by implementing a more transparent and merit-based process for project allocation, performance evaluations, and promotions. Employees should be assessed primarily on their skills, contributions, and performance rather than informal relationships or visibility within management circles.
