    Pros

Exposure to large CPG companies allows for the opportunity to grow. Opportunity to travel globally and promotion within. Good strong people technically with the ability to support global customers. Coverage geographically is strong.

    Cons

Challenging to compete and win business with specific ROI targets. Challenge is the highly capital intensive business Graham is in. Makes it hard to compete on a piece price basis Very competitive market especially from the foreign competitors.

    Advice to Management

Become more customer centric and focus on building trusting relationships with customers. Decrease the layers in the reporting structures to better respond to customer needs

    Pros

Great benefits and above average starting pay

    Cons

Upper management personnel lack the skills to properly train employees. Policies are not consistent or conveyed to the employees. Shift hours continuously change without warning. You could be working days for 3 days then suddenly asked to come in nights. No room to move up within the company.

    Advice to Management

Communicate with your employees as a unit . Management needs to be able to train their employees so they are able to perform their jobs properly.

    Pros

    Good pay, nice area

    Cons

Worst experience I have never had, working for an employer. Very in professional management staff.

    Advice to Management

You need to hold yourself accountable and stop throwing people under the bus and stop with the loose lips there is certain thing that need to be discussed between management and should never leave the front office, you all are delusional and need to focus on your management skills take some classes on how to manage and treat your staff with respect and courtesy, Malcom needs to evaluate that situation

I worked at Graham Packaging (More than a year)

    Pros

Great pay, autonomy, CEO seemed competent, solid existing business.

    Cons

Mindless reporting, didn't have a firm grasp of new markets and what it took to close them, only interested in fighting over pennies with large multinational companies vs. investing in new companies and rowing with them.

    Advice to Management

Set a clear direction and execute. Too much turnover.
