    Lots of Favoritism

Apr 7, 2014 - Sales in Pittsburgh, PA

    Business Outlook

    Pros

A solid company, average to good pay, benefits and time off are standard, training is standard, growth opportunities are available, coworkers friendly and easy going.

    Cons

Favoritism is obvious, promotions and raises are not always based on performance, higher pay raises go to men with families. FMLA (family medical leave) is encouraged; however, little consideration is given to employee when time is needed.

    Pros

There is a staff of dedicated nurses who genuinely want to help people if given the opportunity.

Work load is unrealistic. Work load is not distributed evenly among staff. Management has staff doing everything but what they were hired to do which is case manage. Not all staff lives by the same rules. Supervisor of department is not qualified and is unable to do her job effectively. There is not much flexibility as far as the work schedule.

It's a job, nothing more, nothing less

    Feb 6, 2012 -
    Recommend
    CEO Approval
    Business Outlook

    Pros

It's in a good location, plenty of stores and restuarants within a short distance. Most people are generally friendly. There is a cafeteria onsite - though the food is questionable.

    Cons

Very hard to move up, management can and will hold you back if they dont' want to let you move into another role or department. Some managers are very inflexible regarding time, makes it hard to find that "work/life balance".
