    Pros

Great co-workers and exciting work building race car trailers

    Cons

Shortage on parts all the time & pay

    Advice to Management

Don't lie to hard working employees to get product out on time

    Pros

Pension. 401k match. Nice environment. Polite and Nice coworkers

    Cons

Executive Leadership is utterly lacking. This is medium sized business struggling to modernize. There is no vision. No path forward. The only solution to complex business issues is to increase EBITDA. There is no COO for a company that runs on 4 continents. The President and CEO started as a designed and has zero business acumen. There are easily 7 figure sums left on the table due to inefficiencies that have built up over the years.

    Advice to Management

Scrap the current executives. Go out and hire a President, CEO, COO, CIO, CFO, and CPO that can take the business to the next level.

I worked at Husky Injection Molding Systems full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Nice café, gym, walking trails on site. Hours were somewhat flexible.

    Cons

Really, really bad management. Environment of back stabbing fostered among fellow employees by team leaders. "Good old boys" club. HR has no clue what is happening out in manufacturing.

    Advice to Management

Heard that it was once a good place to work.....currently not so much. Change & improvement can only be accomplished through active listening. Your employees are your most valuable asset.

I worked at Husky Injection Molding Systems full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

    large, well maintained facility.
    nice cafeteria.
    workout room.

    Cons

    poor health insurance choices
    stagnant management entrenched in mediocrity
lethargic / complacent workforce not accepting of a fresh perspective
unwillingness to improve upon legacy production practices

    Advice to Management

employees are your greatest asset. subduing free thinking and suggestions on improving their working conditions and daily responsibilities is counterproductive to improving morale and the desire to preform at the highest level possible. a more collaborative effort should be made to instill a sense of worth in your most important commodity to gain the greatest results, and that sense of worth is just not felt at this location.

    Cons

I have been working at Husky Injection Molding Systems full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

Decent salary/bonus structure if you are exempt. Definitely some interesting positions and responsibilities.

    Cons

The overall experience has gotten worse from the transition from privately owned to publicly owned to owned by capital management companies. Level of benefits/pay/bonus has decreased for the last 5 or so years.

    Advice to Management

The overall message of employee engagement and pay for performance is inconsistent with the reality of 0% raise in 3 out of the last 8 years and "significantly reduced" bonuses. Odd place that exempt employees are fully encouraged to work as many hours as needed, but have to make up medical appointment time.

I have been working at Husky Injection Molding Systems full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Salary and hours, not much else to say other then pay, compensation and salary are no issue for them.

    Cons

Unethical tactics, over all benefits other then salary are lacking. Company and makes there employees feel secure, false sense of security. The downfall of this company is when the transitioned from a private entity and got acquired by the Berkshire group, a US holding company.

    Advice to Management

    Don't sell yourself short.

I worked at Husky Injection Molding Systems full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

Good benefits, Good location (VT), coworkers are nice people.

    Cons

Limited career path, inept management, rampant sexism

    Advice to Management

There are obvious cliques, and certain people benefit from being in them. It should be advised that management should limit their extracurricular time with subordinates- it's very obvious those friends are getting special treatment in the workplace and given opportunities to advance their career- which are few and far between at this small plant.
