I have been working at INTTRA full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

    - Business casual attire (some people even wear shorts)
    - Ample parking including an underground parking garage
    - On-site cafeteria.
    - Interesting work in cool technologies.
    - Opportunity to learn new stuff.
    - Coworkers are smart, friendly, and dedicated to getting the job done. While all companies have politics, Inttra seems to have less of it than most.
    - Small company means that you will affect the bottom line: you get to make a difference!
    - Free foods at seemingly random times. You just pop into the kitchen area and oh, look: pizza! Or cake! Or sandwiches!
    - Ample opportunity to learn new things.

    Cons

    - Changing technologies can make some people uncomfortable.
    - Company is understaffed in some areas, resulting in occasional long hours.
    - Growing pains as the established culture acclimatizes to new best practices.

    Advice to Management

Whatever you're doing seems to be working, so keep up the good work.

    Pros

INTTRA is a world leader in its industry and a true global company, but it's small in size (roughly 200 people). It's nice to work in an environment where you are doing things that impact ocean shipping all over the world, without the frustrating politics and bureaucracies of larger companies. The people are really cool here, it's a relaxed work environment, and you can wear jeans every day (my favorite).

    Cons

As a relative startup, the company is still going through some growing pains - but it's a financially stable company that's a world leader in its space.

    Advice to Management

A little telecommuting would be nice : )

    Pros

Great environment with some of the nicest people around. Company culture was amazing and would recommend to anyone.

    Cons

My assignment for the summer internship program was constantly changing and I was given a lot of work to compensate. Very unsure, but it felt very disorganized.

    Pros

The people are really great. The company gets really excited to do great things in the industry. New things are happening change has been good. Finally solidifying a great staff

    Cons

May get too excited and act without thinking logically if things are possible. Not very transparent, there are many people who you wonder what they do all day. But nonetheless, you feel like your work is useful and valuable here.
