The vast potential this company isn't truly realized as the owners seem to be struggling in running a growing successful business. No IT areas are stable, however, sales and especially professional services is quite volatile. In the 2.5 years I was there, we had no less than 5 re-org's in an attempt to right the ship. Hours were long due to red projects. Turnover for seasoned professions was quite high at the same time an emphasis was placed on college grads with no experience.

Leads put alot of pressure on individuals(highest level of micro management I have seen in my 8 years of experience in this field). And most importantly they don't trust the engineers and most likely depend on what ever the senior developer say, even when they are wrong. And because none of the leads or managers understand technical specifications, it's very hard to make them understand.
