Pros

I’ve had a positive experience here overall. The team is supportive, collaborative, and genuinely willing to help each other succeed, which makes a big difference in the day-to-day. There are real opportunities to take on new challenges and step into more responsibility, especially if you’re willing to put in the effort, stay curious, and show initiative. One thing I really appreciate is the level of leadership transparency. You get a level of visibility into what’s going on that you don’t always see at other companies, which helps create trust and makes it easier to understand the bigger picture behind decisions. There’s definitely a strong expectation to work hard, take ownership, and stay accountable. In my opinion, that also creates a culture where people are committed to doing great work to move the company forward, not just checking boxes. It’s the kind of place where, if you like being engaged, contributing, and continuing to grow, it’s a really great environment to be in.

Cons

No company is perfect, but I’ve seen a real effort to keep improving, listen, and learn from mistakes.

Pros

True remote opportunities available for now. Some members do travel to the office every once in awhile.

Cons

The environment can feel unstructured, with limited alignment between individual expertise and project assignments. Deadlines are often aggressive, and some deliverables rely heavily on AI-generated content without sufficient validation. Work-life balance is not always as flexible as presented, with work extending into evenings and weekends. PTO is also not truly unlimited, as it is tracked in set hours and participation in internal initiatives may count against that time. Additionally, there is no support for dedicated development time, which is important for maintaining and advancing certifications in this field.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We appreciate hearing different perspectives, as they help us continue improving both our employee experience and how we support our teams. As a growing consulting organization, we recognize that balancing client delivery, project alignment, and employee development requires ongoing attention. We understand that periods of growth and evolving client needs can create challenges around workload, structure, and team coordination, and these are areas we continue to actively improve. We also want to clarify that our PTO approach is designed to provide flexibility for employees while supporting responsible planning and client coverage across teams. Remote work and flexible arrangements also continue to be an important part of our culture. We remain committed to strengthening operational consistency, improving staffing alignment, and investing in employee development through clearer growth planning, learning resources, and expanded development opportunities. We appreciate the feedback regarding governance, workload balance, and professional growth, and we remain focused on building a supportive environment for both our employees and clients.

Pros

Great insurance (for now). Other benefits have been cut

Cons

- PTO just got slashed due to a new utilization policy. - Lost several contracts and haven't actually landed many new ones - 30% of employees got laid off this year and management barely even acknowledged it - General employee morale is in the tank and leadership has not shown any interest in improving it

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience and feedback. We recognize that 2025 has been a challenging year, and Intact has faced some difficult moments. We understand the impact these events can have on employee morale. To encourage open communication, we’ve hosted weekly—and now monthly—Open Q&A sessions with our CEO, Jesse, to invite direct dialogue with employees. We remain committed to regular All Hands meetings to provide transparent updates on important topics, and we continue to leverage our Employee Advisory Board to help guide decisions with employees’ perspectives in mind. While we did update our guidelines for utilization—aligning with the industry standard of 80% billable utilization for client-facing team members—this change was not a reduction in PTO. We continue to offer a flexible PTO policy that has not changed, along with 20 company holidays. This flexibility is highly valued by many employees, and our recent “Time Well Spent” initiative was designed to help team members balance that flexibility with business needs and client commitments. We take feedback seriously and remain focused on learning from our experiences and improving how we work together. Our commitment is to build trust, strengthen our culture, and maintain a workplace where people feel supported and heard. If you are open to it, we would welcome the opportunity to connect offline to better understand your perspective and suggestions. Feel free to contact me at pivey@intact-tech.com. Thank you again for your feedback, Patrice
