    Pros

Congenial atmosphere, pay for performance, high regard for employees and their ideas, generous benefits other than vacation, willingness to do what is necessary to win business

    Cons

Limited vacation benefit; suffering some growing pains such as lack of procedures in some cases and too much in others

    Advice to Management

    keep up the good work

    Pros

Great products with capable support but poor mangement concentrating on raising stock prices and selling the company is starting to weather the core of the company. Intec will be sold or dismantled within 2 years.

    Cons

Intec has no concern for employees, no sense of loyalty and if you are not British you will never be promoted above mid-management

    Advice to Management

Quit trying to sell the business and get back to what got you this far. You had great products and support but your management is scarying off your talent.

I worked at Intec Telecom full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

I spent 4 years traveling the world.

    Cons

'out-the-box' thinkers are not welcome and some employees felt threatened cause they weren't up to scratch. It's every 'man' for themselves and you'll get thrown under the bus for those to threatened to get ahead.

    Advice to Management

Get rid of the useless dead weight and be aware of the gems you do have.

I have been working at Intec Telecom full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

you will be given chance to travel to many countries either on project or training if you are good in providing gift/ personal benefits to your superior. Especially training in cape town, food included, stayed in 4 / 5 stars hotel, 9am - 5pm training, 5 days a week training could give you plenty of time to travel in this beautiful city for free. Many employees from KL have been attended training in cape town.

    Cons

if you don't know how to provide personal benefits to your superior, you will be accused by them for any thing, the skills you acquired in this company will not be useful for you to find any job outside.

    Advice to Management

where to find such a good company? it is only in intec.

I have been working at Intec Telecom full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

flexible working hour, good office location and relax working environment.

    Cons

Most of the managers are not good as they are too fond of being flattered and accepted gift from subordinates. Don't be surprised when you noticed some of the bad skills people being sent for training overseas or kept promoted by the managers. look like the life as managers in Intec are so good as always got gift from subordinates and being flattered by subordinates.

    Advice to Management

did managers provide gift to the top management as well like the subordinates gave gift to managers in order to get promotion or good projects?

    Disapproves of CEO

I have been working at Intec Telecom full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Good salary in terms of money (don't count in bonus rewards though) and excellent punctuality on payments.
Good value on payments for off-shore working periods.

    Cons

    Especially for developers:
    - you'll never have an update training, not even under request
    - issues management is so bad that you won't be able to count repeated mistakes to fix
    - only few colleagues will be available for giving help
    - managers are highly self-flattering, responsibilities and duties repelling and they won't have second thoughts on fingering and blaming (and if you throw on their face facts and proofs they will become even more aggressive), very demotivating
    - career opportunities, especially if you are a developer, are very restricted if not closed
    - self training is the only way to improve the self knowledge
    - jungle law is the only way to survive
    - HR won't even try to help you if you feel uncomfortable working with upper- mentioned managers
    - BA and Architects normally live in their own bubble: doctors will be always very confusing and non-detailed: always avoid technical terms, it's like sun for vampires
    - in general independent thinking is not tolerated
    - if INTEC wasn't absorbed by CSG, it was certainly doomed to be flushed in an oblivion
    - all the best people I knew there left the company as I did
    - I've never seen the CEO putting not even a bit of effort to understand any kind of circumstances, seeming more he used to take care of telling you that "for this year you won't get a bonus" definitively not knowing on what you worked and how you worked: he didn't care even of direct customer's reviews!!!

    Advice to Management

Sometimes you should try to manage. Less blaming is highly recommended. Take care of developers because without them you'll crash down very badly. If somebody works extra hours try to have memory of it!
