I worked at Interpath Laboratory full-time

    Pros

This company has some positive things to it, such as a set schedule, weekends and holidays off.

    Cons

The negatives to this company are, they have an extremely high turn over rate, upper management doesn't have the employees interest at heart and treats employees very poorly. The benefits are not that great.

I have been working at Interpath Laboratory full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Monday through Friday with major holidays off.

    Cons

Pay is way less than industry standard. Owners are more concerned with making money than investing in their employees. If you suck up and do everything just short of sleeping with the bosses you get what you want while the people who work hard and try to call people out on the bs get fired and harassed. A lot of back stabbing by people who aren't management but have been there a long time. All the positive reviews on here are all from management so don't believe a word they say. If it weren't for the fact that employment can be minimal where I live I would have run for my life a long time ago.

    Pros

Not the best pay around, but if you're single it's alright. Sometimes fun environment but mostly very repetitive work. Great people!

    Cons

Work like, repetitiveness, it can get boring sometimes especially when you finish all your work

    Advice to Management

    More company activities.

I worked at Interpath Laboratory full-time

    Pros

Flexibility and freedom. Some goo opportunity to learn and build your resume.

    Cons

The "family" trusts no one with a different last name. Always protecting their ow and it is rare for outsiders to make it past middle management. And if you do, watch your back!

Lower than average compensation and screw you on raises.... even when promised.

    Advice to Management

Learn to trust and empower your employees. You have a lot of talented people willing to go above and beyond but you burn them out with lack of upwards potential and minimal compensation. Most importantly, be loyal to those loyal to you.

You have a lot of potential as a company, but it is about more than just the Kennedy's. Reward those that have stood by you. Don't "retire" them. Also, learn to communicate. Keeping people in the dark kills their desire to be loyal.

I have been working at Interpath Laboratory full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

I absolutely love the team that I work with. Interpath appreciates our great approach to providing excellent customer service. Our patients are also the greatest...... so that helps.

    Cons

We are 8 hours away from the main lab in Pendleton. So we do not get to see upper management as much as other sites.

I worked at Interpath Laboratory full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Complex and fast paced environment, with challenges everyday. Updated computers and servers, good, fast technology. Family of owners are good people.

    Cons

Complex and fast paced environment, with challenges everyday.

Lab system software is horrible, designed by internally book trained learn-as-you-go 'it staff.'
Low pay. no appreciation for employees. If you don't sleep with the boss, drink with the boss, etc you get no raise, no future, just continued extra work. Philandering mgmt staff. Highly dysfunctional, one person is fired for sending a mouthy email, the other person is NOT fired for having quid pro quo relationships with subordinates. Expected to work ridiculous hours overtime with no overtime pay, though legally obligated to be paid. Worked an entire weekend at a remote site and did not get paid a cent (though i am hourly). Mgmt uses internal knowledge only, has grown 500% but won't seek outside help or grow senior level staffing numbers (Cant give work life a negative number so I settled for 1) horrible benefits

    Advice to Management

Hire more professional staff, fire the bad eggs, and entrust your employees instead of being suspicious of them.

Nothing really to report as far as pros.

    Cons

If you are a favorite with the bosses then you have no problem.
This Mom and Pop shop -lab, is a poorly run facility with owners that are more interested in building big homes and buying new cars that pouring money into their business.
They use second hand equipment, an operating system built by a 3rd year computer science major.

    Advice to Management

Hire properly trained managers and used a better operating system
