Pros

You can do the bare minimum and no one cares.

Cons

Where to begin? The sales floor is dead quiet 95% of the time yet their management never say anything. Then out of the blue on Fridays they will say you're fired if you don't do such and such, this never pans out. I must have heard I had the possibility of getting fired 20 times from them but it never came to fruition, like most of their promises. They will lie in the interview just to get new employees, then fail to address their lies and talk circles around you till you decide it's not worth your hassle. Absolutely no chance for incoming employees to get a promotion and they promote their friends or the people who kiss their butts enough, like it's high school student government. They are a clique and you have to be the suck up if you even want a chance at a promotion here. Management refuses to take ideas from employees and if you rub them the wrong way by offering advice on how to better something, they will get pissy and make your life miserable. They love living in the bubble thinking they are a part of the industry but have 0 (zero) brand recognition in the market place. The few people who have heard of Issuer Direct do know of them because of the many negative experiences they give their customers. They love not holding on to their end of the bargain and justify keeping your money for BS reasons. They use used car salesmen tactics to get the little sales they do have but 9/10 the customer is the one coming up with the short end of the stick. They are even shady enough to have their employees write great reviews on sites like these when that couldn't be further from the truth. Whatever they rebuttal this review with is sure to be a joke. I have never worked at a company where the CEO literally berates you for trying to help the company. Upper management will make you their scapegoat as they are clearly incapable of making any wrong decisions (sarcasm). Working here will ruin your chances of going to a better job afterwards and you will hate your life the entire time you work there. Stay clear from all the lies and deception Issuer Direct is. In one word, this place is a facade!

We are sorry to see your experience at Issuer Direct be so unhappy. A position in sales is not for everyone, we truly wish you nothing but success in your future endeavors, perhaps it’s just not in sales. As for your comments about us, I think we’d prefer to defer to the 75+ people (some that have been with us a decade) that work with us every day, after all there is strength in numbers. Those strengths have passion for what we do, who we serve and where we are headed. All differences aside, I am sorry your experience with us was not a success, situations like this are definitely things you can learn from, and if that ends up helping you someday, then we are grateful for having an impact. Best of luck to you sir.

Pros

absolutely none at all. NONE

Cons

they’ll lay you off with no warning during the holidays and pay no severance and shut off your insurance and benefits immediately. every recruiter I’ve worked with thereafter has said they've heard the exec team is extremely cheap and generally mismanaged. HIGHLY do NOT recommend

Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts and experiences with us. We understand that the experience of being laid off can be extremely challenging and emotional, and we empathize with anyone who has been impacted. Please know that decisions regarding layoffs are never easy, and they are made after careful consideration of various factors. As a company, we are constantly evaluating our resources and commitments to ensure sustainability and longevity. Unfortunately, in certain circumstances, difficult decisions must be made, including adjustments to benefits packages. We wish you the best in your future endeavors, and we sincerely hope that you find success and fulfillment in your career.

Pros

It’s a job that pays

Cons

“Yo, so I’ve worked at Issuer Direct for a minute..” lol, very obviously written by upper management to fool people into thinking this company is worth your time. I don’t even know where to start honestly. It’s actually astonishing the lack of communication this place has for a company that labels themselves as a communications company. This was the most mismanaged, unorganized, stressful job I’ve ever had with constant threats of losing your job if you didn’t deliver (with literally zero help or direction from the lackluster upper management team). We were told daily that we’re failing as a company, yet they would take away support teams, dump more responsibility onto the sales reps, and complain when we couldn’t juggle it all. Not to mention they would completely ignore the spiffs for the reps who hit them.
