Pros

Space and opportunity to learn and develop within the financial/fintech space. Great people to share ideas with/learn from.

Cons

Normal growing challenges of a fintech in the space that can be solved with communication.

Pros

- Working for a scale up is fun and dynamic, meaning everyday is different - The office has a laid back atmosphere (and has a couple of our employee's dogs come in from time to time!) - Excellent benefits - progressive mental health policy, working from home/flexible working, perkbox, health insurance, competitive remuneration, AND you get to work at home on your birthday - Genuinely feels like a family with a strong culture of transparency - Still a small enough company so that individual efforts get recognised and celebrated within the team. Also the smaller size of the company means that if you recognise a process/issue that isn't working or could be improved, Judo will be able to adapt and make changes quickly - The Judo office is in a shared office building, which is called Rise, that has regular events including yoga, film screenings, and weekly socials - Excellent work-life balance

Cons

- Sometimes the office gets quite quiet on Fridays as many people work from home

Pros

Judo payments is a front for a company built on lies and vapourware. The management is terrible, focused on fear and claiming to Pioneer a technology sector in which they simply skin other service providers. There is no real unique selling point and the support that we offer customers is on a benefit to Judo basis. If you don't have anything judo wants support is compromised. With clients leaving left right and centre and technical issues affecting the core infrastructure daily no one should work or integrate this sham of a product and company. I believe I have wasted my time working for this dictatorship with steer from the ex Bain CEO who clearly rates his qualities above those of experienced staff. With a bullying culture and senior management that takes pride in mocking staff behind closed doors and taking joy in making redundancies, all staff are either in the process of moving or are actively interviewing. For those that are looking to work here be aware of the dream of shares been offered, this is passed around to all staff and the fact of the devaluation through dilution never gets mentioned. They are truly worthless. The only good thing about the company is the beer fridge. This is the worst job I have ever had.

Cons

The whole company. Why work for a company built on lies and technical debt?
