Pros

There was a good community in the Newcastle office.

Cons

-Main language housing the vast majority of code for the main product is written in a proprietary language making it unsuitable for gaining experience as a graduate/midlevel. -Stagnant pay, often awarding raises below inflation. -Do not care about employee cirumstances even when those circumstances are created through business decisions. -Do not care about personal development of individuals. -Recently bought by private equity company, who are making attempting to make financial efficiency gains through aggressive restructures. -Programmers were actually judged based on the NUMBER OF LINES WRITTEN. Absolutely hilarious. -Once HR don't like you, they leverage their position to waste your time with nonsense and nit pick, rather than maintain a professional approach.

Pros

Medical Aid cover Pension Cape town office has drinks with staff on some fridays

Cons

Kerridge is trying to run a international company in the boarders of SA as if it is a USA company where labor laws dont exist, then they think conducting Section 189 and shame skills assessments to make staff redundant when you have over 12 years in development The CTO and HR departments are after you and will fake everything to get rid of you without a fair processes in place and lie to you saying there are no positions open but there are development openings.

Pros

Hybrid working mode Varied work projects

Cons

Very limited support and training. Finding the information needed to perform the work can be a real struggle. Some people are not willing to help, especially the ones who’d been there a long time and should know the most. Zero activities to help employees engage/get to know each other.
