Pros
Pay is excellent. This job roll utilizes my organizational, mechanical and problem-solving skills.
Cons
It’s not so much the company, but the industry right now is in a slow down which happens every few years. It was to be expected right now. I’m looking for work because I need something more stable.

Good pay, good accountability standards
Jan 15, 2023 - Production in Goshen, INRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
-production manager was one of the best. Taught me a lot about leadership. Some of the things he used to say about leading teams have helped me lead my own team, in a different industry. - best pay in a plant I've ever had. - high accountability standards, weeded out people who negatively impacted groups quickly
Cons
- tough environment to break into. Production line does not help new people, but it's because they're bogged down with a heavy workload and expected to go at a very fast pace - don't call off. They'll find a reason to get rid of you - qc process is very strict. Lines would get held up for hours sometimes. Long days, missing out on time with family -unexpectedly long layoffs in winter after a whole year of running hard and being promised enough work to resume normal work for months out. Maintain decent savings and you'll be fine, if you can't save, oof. - sexual harassment OFTEN goes unpunished. One group leader who eventually got fired for other reasons was very inappropriate, I was told by other women if I reported it, I'd be the one being ran out because I was only a production worker.
