I have been working at Kinaxis full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

I left one of the largest Tech companies to join Kinaxis and am enjoying getting back to how my work life should be - challenging yet achievable goals, growth opportunities, and FUN (I actually smile at work again).

I love how they support the work at home concept fully, They have provided me with the best tools to support my customers virtually. My travel has gone from most of the time if I want to get something done, to ONLY when it makes absolute sense (and I still get what I need done).

    Cons

I have some concerns with how quickly they are growing, but so far so good (no impact to me or my teammates).

I had a few better benefits with my last company, but that was solely because of size. The benefits that Kinaxis has in other areas make up for it completely!

    Pros

Great atmosphere, smart people, very high standards in almost all regards.

    Cons

learning curve long, employees expected to deliver before going through it.

    Advice to Management

More support for employees, some more coaching for challenges/complex work and more feedback needed (seen this with many colleagues)

I worked at Kinaxis full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Great place to build Functional Expertise in supply chain domain,
Growing company - it offers lots of opportunities to learn and pick career path in the software industry.
A killer product in Supply Chain Domain.
There are lots of folks around, who have been with company for 12-15 yrs in HQ, they are always enthusiastically helpful - and that is only thing working for this company- But company may not grow after a point because of cons

    Cons

Long hours. Expensive benefits for US based employees. Very Unattractive ESPP . No RSU/ESOP. They may have problem in retaining talent. B-grades will stay but A's will move on. Just negotiate paycheck when coming in. It is impossibly hard after that, and if you like stock compensation- ask to be a VP. They have tons of them now .

    Advice to Management

Don't let cronies from executive's previous job, join the ever growing pool of Kinaxis VPs - its a joke.
Invest in product savvy employees and promote from within.

    Pros

Very easy to take pride in the core product, supply chain modeling software. The supply chain software technology is outstanding.

    Cons

Training and the teamwork within the company has a lot to be desired. Improvement ideas are not encourged out side of a few positions.

    Advice to Management

There is a box around how out of the box thinking is done. Encourge new ideas from everyone. Encourge cross department teaming.

I have been working at Kinaxis full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Best-in-class, focused product portfolio (singleness of purpose)

    Friendly, capable, helpful people

Management cares about the well-being of the employees

    Cons

Small-ish company, so some processes are informal and immature (this can be an advantage in some cases)

    Compensation is low-to-average

    Advice to Management

As the company spreads out geographically, take some steps to better integrate remote workers into the corporate environment

    Pros

Great Place to work. The employees are engaging and friendly. The projects can be challenging but rewarding. I would say Kinaxis is a progressive company always looking for ways to keep the employees engaged.. Company is doing a great job expanding rapidly while at the same time keeping to their core values.

    Cons

US benefits are lacking a little in terms of LTD, STD, FSA and MSA offerings. Overall though the plan is fair.

    Advice to Management

Keep the pedal down and keep engaging the employees and the Customers.
