I worked at Laird full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

I loved my job, loved everything about it. I just had a horrible manager who was not fair at all and due to him being there so long it was his word versus my word and no matter what even with documentation he always came out on top but overall great company.

    Cons

Not a lot of advance to grow in certain sites.

    Advice to Management

Having an HR rep at all locations would be very beneficial. Also when VP's visit sites it would be good to make there schedule open to visit all employees and not leave the bottom of the barrel people feel so low.

I worked at Laird full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

I can list literally nothing. If you don't want to learn anything and do meaningless work this is your place to be. They pay you alright but you will want to kill yourself after working for 3-4 months

    Cons

Basically everything, from location to manager to internal politics to attitudes to the stench of people who have been withering there from ages doing. Nothing noteworthy in their field. Almost all managers here are managers because they have been at it for so long and have become unemployable elsewhere.

    Advice to Management

Nothing seems to work right. Revamp the whole company and business model

    I worked at Laird full-time

    Pros

Not much - some very good employees to work with and very knowledgeable. Other than that, stay away unless it's the only opportunity available

    Cons

Poor management style - try to act like a Billion company and run it like a ma and pa shop
Cut throat and very click oriented - if you don't belong in the clicks you don't belong in the company
Bonus system is a complete joke - how people get rewarded is based more off a buddy/buddy instead of qualifications and fairness

    Advice to Management

Total change needed in current management style needed. Run by intimidation and controlled by few. Need to establish some type of standards
