    Pros

Really enjoy my coworkers. Most are humble, friendly, and skilled. They don't over exert you but challenge you to bring your best. Lots of people to learn from, and you're not micromanaged.

    Opportunities for advancement

All my managers and superiors have been kind and open. You can walk up to anyone including the CEO and have a conversation.

People make or break any company. They also define the culture. The culture of this company is extraordinary. There are no shortage of company sponsored events designed to bring people together. There are plenty of opportunities to learn and in ways not possible at much larger companies. There is no shortage of truly great leaders further down in the organization. They will help you to grow and support your development Despite some recent turnover, the company still stands behind their employees and stays positive that the changes will only make the company better.

    Cons

Accountability. But this is a work in progress.

You can get used to working here and never want to leave.

Change is a scary thing, but in today's day and age it happens in every company.

    Advice to Management

Keep up the good work, your transparency and culture make a huge difference.

    Pros

Your last day here will be your best day.

    Cons

Don’t even consider this company. They are owned by an Italian company now, sold off the only profitable division they had and have gotten rid of so many people that now the remaining people are leaving in droves. Executives lie about how bad things are. They are giving packages to some people in hopes they will stay until 2020 when they will then eliminate their position.
I have been asked to place false comments here saying how great the company is since a lot of the recent reviews are so bad.

    Advice to Management

Sell the remainder of the company and close the doors. Stop lying about how things are not so bad here.

I worked at Lane Construction full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Comfortable work environment, free coffee, food trucks a couple of times a year

    Cons

Lane was purchased by Salini Impregio a couple of years ago and the company has gone downhill quickly since then. They just sold off half the company and laid off ALOT of the remaining staff, causing the ones left behind to pick up the pieces and now those people are leaving too. Lane has a lot of "old school" policies and mentalities, such as separating out the workforce into different groups, causing poor employee morale. Overall, it is not a good place to work.

    Advice to Management

    Change your ways quickly.
