Pros

They are being brave with the product and market strategy.

Cons

Leadership changes company direction constantly and at a whim. The investors pull rank and everything switches again. The culture is lip service. If measured in actions, there's rounds of redundancies, company-wide announcements there'll be no more, then another round a couple of months later. Value seems to be measured in actions, not outcome. Since I've worked there no one has asked how I feel about my role, how I'd like to develop, mentioned learning, growth, or checked engagement. For a learning company embracing the talent flywheel and acquiring employee engagement and performance management platforms, the irony is all there. It's all surface level bluster. Trust is low. Engagement is low. And people are neatly working in their hierarchical corners unable to budge or truly bring their skills to the role. Spends on events are gigantic, then cuts are made in the weeks after all over the shop. It's a company that over blows it's vision with high spend and too many parallel tasks all happening at the same time, and then disarms itself from getting there because it's unfocused, illogical and constantly changing strategies that overspend and under deliver. It is the least efficient, most traditional 'modern' company I've worked for, and it doesn't seem to see how it holds itself back.

Pros

Remote work THE PEOPLE ARE AMAZING Company is at a great inflection point that if they get things right they will take the market by storm Transparency and ability to speak up Great pay and opportunity!

Cons

History of accounts isn’t the best A lot of change so have to navigate with not as much clarity Not as much visibility in terms of knowing what is working currently and what is not

Pros

Flexible working hours, some good people in the company, just not in the positions that make decisions.

Cons

It’s not a good sign that I don’t know where to start, and I wish I could be more positive after all my years here, but regretfully the last 18 months have seen a sharp decline in standards and culture. The CEO from what I can tell brings little to no value. Since he started the company has continue to miss targets, made mass redundancies and fail to create a strong culture from the top down. You won’t have a career here. Promotions are few and far between across the board, and as we continue to shrink as a company those will only reduce more. The culture is toxic, where silos and division is rife. Teams are so disillusioned with all the change, missed targets, no bonuses and layoffs that the culture of trying to be the best that once defined us, has ground to a halt. Now we simply exist. There is no motivation to drive standards higher, and what personal goals you may have to grow are stomped out by the decisions made at the top. The revenue team, man I feel sorry for them. They are resented by the other departments as they are placed above all others consistently, despite talk of us being a ‘village’. However, they are then set impossible goals to achieve and so are constantly churned by the VPs and CRO (who is also the CEO as the former CRO left 6 months ago and we can’t find anyone to take this poisoned chalice). So if you’re going to work in that team know you’ll be disliked by all other depts, but it’s ok because your reward will be low pay, impossible commission targets and likely a swift end to your employment. The ELT has absolutely no connection with its staff, none. They love the sound of their own voices on monthly all hands, patting each other on the back for jobs well done. Yet all the faces on that call are glum and down beaten as we see yet more targets missed and fluff around how ‘next year will be better’. They live in a bubble so don’t expect them to come out of it to see the true horrors of day to day life at this place.
