    Pros

Fast moving, smart people, growing, diverse. Good geographic footprint. Some very solid acquisitions. Pushing the definition of digital consulting with some of the big guns.

    Cons

Growing pains, some executive hires, horrible back office and recruiting functions, typical dead wood issues.

    Pros

Paying good money, company grows constantly.

    Cons

Poor benefits package, very expensive medical insurance. No room to grow. Company does not want people to work from home.

    Advice to Management

Save money for the company - let people work from home, at least one-two days a week. Ask and listen people what they want to improve in the company.

I worked at LiquidHub full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Provided a great staff augmentation assignment for me with a great client. Hard to imagine better.
Company allowed me to focus on and develop a solid relationship with the client, reasonably balancing the interests of all parties.
Managers were experienced, balanced, and helpful when needed. Nobody seemed in over their heads, just loaded with other duties.
Good benefits, including broad health care provider network.
Good culture and fair treatment, including work/life balance.

    Cons

Company seems to emphasize goals beyond staffing, trying to make it big; that could leave someone building a career wondering which way to go.

    Advice to Management

Continue effort to build relationship between embedded staff and company managers, as well as among staff.
    Reduce cost of 401k plan.

I worked at LiquidHub full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

There is a lot to learn - not only there but about client as well; Casual dress code; flexible hours are granted with permission; It's a good starting job just out of college
    Good benefits.

    Cons

It's a production shop; once you learn your job function that's it - nothing more is learned; there don't seem to be any opportunities for anything else; there no discussions about "next level" or goals; this is not a "forever" job - it's a stepping stone to something bigger/better

    Advice to Management

    1) Offer training for new employees - what they call "training" is a joke.
    2) Here's a novel concept: instead of hiring brand new people - try promoting from within when you get a new client! :-o
    3) Try to determine why the high turnover of Project Managers
    4) Training for the manager on how to be a manager (no consistency except favoritism & turnover)
    5) Turn off the music/TV
    6) Institute a minimum dress code - some people take it too far (sports team t-shirts or pajamas passed off as leggings) and no one cares
    7) No employee development in sight

Not many I can think of. My manager was a great guy but he disliked the place too.

    Cons

Poor work environment. Snooty leadership. Painful to get any information from HR

    Advice to Management

Stop cutting costs and start investing in the company

    Pros

They have good clients. Probably because they take fixed rate contracts, so they staff it with a few competent people and a ton of offshore people who barely know how to log in.

    Cons

They will insist you sub contract with some sham LLC formed by four of their buddies. That place will insist you bill only once a month, and wait a month to get paid. then at the end of your contract they won't pay the last invoice, regardless of the timesheets signed off by the client.
It's an old scam, seen it many times before. This place is a straight up scam, they should be prosecuted under RICO statutes.

    Advice to Management

Work for a legitimate enterprise, not the con artist robbery operation you're running. Sooner or later you will probably face criminal charges.

    I worked at LiquidHub full-time

    Pros

I can't speak for all of the various teams at LiquidHub, but the one I was positioned with was great. The Account Manager and Assistant made every effort to ensure we had what was needed. Regular visits to the team on-site at the client were the norm. In consulting this can be quite rare.

Even though the company is larger, they do everything to keep it feeling as it did when they started.

    Cons

Tend to jump on the latest trend, typically via acquisitions of smaller specialty companies.

Large focus on supplementing on-shore capabilities and teams with cheaper off-shore resources.
